Hungry Wet Coyote

I don't coyote hunt from May to August because female coyotes are denned up with pups but that doesn't mean I don't go out and film coyotes when I get the chance. This film was shot 10 minutes from my home in Queen Creek, AZ. Saw 2 coyotes walking off a local golf course in the drizzling rain in the early morning on the way to work. Grabbed my Foxpro and video camera and slipped into a desert brush area ahead of them and started calling. This cautious coyote came into the call after no more than 1 minute. If it had been a few months earlier with my Benelli M4, he'd have taken a dirt nap.
